Product description
4-way switched PDU to reduce power consumption, for remote maintenance and for environmental monitoring
With the new IP switched sockets, the power consumption of the installation can be effectively reduced: the collective switching off of
consumers , even in standby mode, as well as the integrated energy meters help ensure sustainable operation of the infrastructure.
In addition, the operator receives warning messages when fault currents occur. This enables preventative maintenance measures before downtime occurs.
The PDUs have 4, 8 or 12 load outputs (IEC C13 or Schuko) on the back. This allows connected devices to be switched off and on in the event of a fault. This is particularly possible via media controls and DCIM solutions. Defined threshold values also ensure that event-based switching processes can be initiated.
Two integrated sensor connections for optionally available sensors allow the monitoring of ambient temperature, humidity and air pressure. System-critical conditions are therefore identified at an early stage. Thanks to hot-pluggable sensors, commissioning with the Expert Power Control series is done quickly.
Performance features
• Power ports can be switched individually on the device, via HTTPS, SNMP, using a command line tool and via a serial interface
• Switching status and switch-on delay (0...9999 seconds) can be set for each power port after a power failure
• Current peaks during simultaneous switching processes are prevented by an automatic latency of 1 second
• Programmable schedules and on/off Switch-off sequences
• 2 energy counters: one counter counts permanently, the other counter is resettable
• Measurement of current, voltage, phase angle, power factor, frequency, active, apparent and reactive power
• Measurement of Differential current type A
• Easy-to-read LED display for showing total current, IP address, sensor values and error messages
• Channel watchdogs, each power port can be assigned its own watchdog (ICMP/TCP)
/>• Integrated overvoltage protection (SPD) prevents damage to the device and connected consumers (L-N, L/N-PE), status can be accessed via network
• 2 connections for optional sensors for environmental monitoring (temperature, humidity and air pressure)
• Load outputs can be switched when preset sensor threshold values are exceeded
