FRITZ!Powerline 1260E turns any socket into a fast and secure Gigabit network connection. With a gigabit powerline of up to 1,200 MBit/s and the latest 2x2 MIMO technology, significantly more robust connections, greater ranges and higher data throughputs are achieved. The device also provides a WLAN AC+N access point with up to 1266 Mbit/s for wirelessly connecting smartphones, tablets and notebooks to the home network. FRITZ!Powerline 1260E enables broadband applications with the highest demands even in the furthest corners of houses and apartments.

Gigabit class powerline

FRITZ!Powerline 1260E reliably connects network-capable devices such as computers, televisions or game consoles, even over long distances in the home network via ultra-fast Gigabit LAN. With networking via the power line, long distances and obstacles such as walls and ceilings can be easily mastered. Compared to powerline adapters in the 500 and 200 Mbit/s class, FRITZ!Powerline 1260E enables significantly more transmission capacity and more robust connections - with high energy efficiency. This means that several demanding broadband applications can be used at the same time.

Fast WiFi AC+N

FRITZ!Powerline 1260E expands the WLAN in the home network at gigabit speeds. The WLAN can be provided conveniently, securely and flexibly via Powerline even in rooms with a large distance to the router. The device is prepared for WLAN Mesh of an installed FRITZ!Box. FRITZ!Powerline offers maximum security via WPA2 encryption, easy connection of WLAN devices via WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) and data rates of up to 866 MBit/s (WLAN AC) + 400 MBit/s (WLAN N). 1260E offers a lot of comfort and flexibility for wireless surfing.

Powerful 2x2 MIMO technology

FRITZ!Powerline 1260E is ideal for broadband-intensive network applications, such as transmitting HD videos (also in 3D) as well as fast Internet access, online gaming, web TV, NAS connection and video on demand. Even long distances between the devices do not affect the quality of the transmission. The 2x2 MIMO technology enables up to 60% greater range in the power network by using two pairs of wires at the same time. If both pairs of wires cannot be used at the same time, the automatic selection of the better transferring pair of wires (diversity) ensures robust powerline transmission.

Simple and safe ex works

What stands out about FRITZ!Powerline products is the individual pre-encryption ex works, which enables immediate, secure commissioning. FRITZ!Powerline 1260E is simply connected to a socket and the device to be networked at the desired location. The adapter is then securely added to the existing Powerline network at the push of a button. The connection is established with individual AES 128-bit encryption (plug and play). The FRITZ!Powerline 1260E is compatible with current devices in the 1,200, 500 and 200 Mbit/s classes. Updates are easily made via the FRITZ!Powerline program or via the FRITZ!Box user interface.
