High-speed Internet everywhere with Powerline

In no time at all, any socket becomes a secure and fast network connection. The FRITZ!Powerline 540E WLAN set expands the home network via the in-house power line with up to 500 MBit/s. The smaller FRITZ!Powerline 510E is best suited for connecting the router, e.g. a FRITZ!Box, to the powerline network. At the remote station, FRITZ!Powerline 540E integrates other network-capable devices such as PCs, printers, TVs, Blu-ray players, hi-fi systems or games consoles into the home network with two Fast Ethernet ports. The current chipset technology always ensures particularly energy-saving use.

Secure WiFi with up to 300 MBit/s and a long range

FRITZ!Powerline 540E has an independent WLAN access point. The FRITZ!Box's WLAN network can be easily expanded via Powerline and also made available in distant rooms. With maximum security via WPA2 encryption, easy connection of WLAN devices via WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) as well as data rates of up to 300 Mbit/s and MIMO (more range for the required data rates), FRITZ!Powerline 540E offers a maximum Comfort and flexibility for wireless surfing and home networking.

Immediate commissioning

One of the special features of the FRITZ!Powerline 540E WLAN set is the pre-encryption ex works, which enables immediate and secure commissioning. The two powerline devices are simply connected to the devices to be networked using a LAN cable and plugged into the respective sockets. The powerline devices find each other automatically thanks to the factory-set pairing. The connection is now established and individually encrypted with 128-bit AES (plug and play). Additional Powerline devices are added to the secure FRITZ!Powerline network at the touch of a button.
