The Cisco Meraki MS is a cloud-managed switch. This means that the benefits of the cloud, such as simplified management, reduced complexity, network-wide visibility and control, and reduced costs in branch and campus deployments, can also be enjoyed in the corporate network.
The concept of Meraki Switches is completely designed for easy management , but does not compromise on the performance and flexibility that enterprise-class switches must provide.
For example, Cisco Meraki switches are managed not through a cryptic command line, but through an intuitive cloud interface. Meraki switches can be used immediately after connection - there is no need for complicated configuration files or pre-staging.
