- Charging the battery with temperature compensation extends the life of the battery by regulating the charging voltage according to the actual battery temperature
- Voltage conditioning protects connected devices from surges, voltage spikes, lightning strikes and other power supply disruptions
- Cold start support enables temporary battery operation if mains power fails
