This switch is a high-performance gigabit copper switch. It enables an existing network to be easily upgraded to transmission speeds of 1000 MBit/s via Category 5 cable (Cat.5). Five 1000BASE-T full duplex ports dramatically increase the performance of your network. It can be used in both conventional Fast Ethernet networks and Gigabit networks and is particularly suitable as a desktop device because it is fanless - and therefore noise-free.
