In order to meet the high demand for data protection, Kyocera has developed the Data Security Kit. Among other things, this deletes the data temporarily stored on the hard disk after a scan or copy job has been completed. Likewise, temporarily stored print data on the printer controller's hard disk is deleted. Other data on the hard disk, such as the contents of an address book, is protected in the event of theft.
